Materials & Care

100% Plastic Free

At Avo Design, we take pride in creating products that are 100% Plastic Free. Our products contain no plastic, BPA, BPS, PVC, latex, lead, or phthalates. We go the extra mile, despite financial and manufacturing challenges, to eliminate materials that are harmful to both our bodies and the environment.

Plastic that doesn’t end up in a landfill often finds its way into the ocean, ultimately entering our food chain. Our goal is to eliminate plastic and microplastics from our products and daily lives. From the cap to the bottle, accessories, and packaging—everything we make is plastic-free.

Silicone Material

Silicone's durable molecular structure prevents it from breaking down into microplastics. Although alternative materials can be more affordable in the short term, looking long term, the true cost is put on our health and ecosystems.

All Avo products are made from 100% food grade silicone that are FDA and LFGB compliant for food contact and safety. Food-grade silicone is non-reactive and doesn't leach chemicals, ensuring that your food and drinks remain pure and uncontaminated, it is commonly used in baby pacifiers and food storage bags, ensuring safety and durability for everyday use.

Silicone is watertight but not airtight. Its soft, flexible nature means it's porous and can absorb odors and stains with prolonged contact.  However, with proper care, your Avo products will remain in excellent condition.
